This is a social design project which explores the power of visual language in provoking attention to issues that are often overlooked in our society. This research chooses to focus on the unfair treatment of people with intellectual disabilities. It uses posters as a mean to raise awareness and act as a voice for the voiceless minorities.
This marginalized group of people with intellectual disabilities are socially vulnerable and often neglected by the community. They are discriminated against in the workplace, many are abused physically and sexually, and they are not paid the fair amount of wage due to the unfair policy. These posters use vibrant and eye-catching colours to draw people's attention and make them reflect on the contemplative messages and illustrations.
